Art is really becoming a part of our lives. As our living conditions are getting better, we do not only think about survival, but start to fill our life with some more pleasant things (and that art definitely is). We are getting surrounded by art and artists. Just try to remember whether there is an artist in your environment. A person who creates art for his own enjoyment or someone who does it as an occupation. Painter, musician, singer, dancer, writer, photographer, actor, or even architect, designer or window dresser, because these are also jobs that are considered artistic. These and many more. According to a conclusion of a census held in the USA in 2005, 2 million Americans' primary job is what the census defines as artist (and other 300,000 said it was their second job).That also suggest that at least those 2 million citizens of the USA do what they actually like and always wanted to do. Because for me, being an artist means having a job that you really love. Being an artist means doing what fully fills you. What brings joy from what you've done and at the same time desire to do more. Artists use their good points like imagination, talent, creativity and skills to create aesthetic value. At the same time, they can self-realize and express their own opinions, rejoice many people, make them think about less or more serious issues.It is pity that there are still people who have some stereotypes about artists, perceiving them as non-educated, unemployed and marginal. This is what it used to be in remote past, but definitely not now. Let's smash these stereotypes and enjoy everything what art brings.

Few years ago I was a kid. I have to admit it. And as a kid you appreciate different things. Or maybe better is to say you are not in the age when you really know what is good and what is not. Imagine you should at the age of 15 or 16 go for holidays somewhere on the boat. As long as we are human we would like food. We would love good food and good food will make us happy and satisfied. What is more when you can eat delicious food at some romantic and nice place, with people you like and when do not have to do anything? Artwork stolen in Brazil by Lenka Filipova

It seems it is not much of art to steal art, actually. In Brazil, it has been for the second time within one year, the police called for the art heist. In this case, it has launched a manhunt for two stealers who made away with artworks from the Sao Paulo's Estaco Pinacoteca Museum. According to the police news, they filched two Picasso prints, and in addition to this, they managed to take two paintings by Brazilian painters. Precisely, they took away the famous Picasso's painting The Painter and the Model from 1963 and also Minotaur, Drinker and Women painted in 1933. The other paintings included the works of Emiliano DiCavalcanti, his Women at the Window, and than Couple painted by Lasar Segall. They immediately, started the manhunt beginning with the dusting of the fingerprints, and consequent analysis. To prevent the bandits to get the paintings out of the country, they were forced to alert airport police as well as seaports, which should be permanently seek for the potential stealers. Mauricio Rodrigues, a police spokesman, told that even Interpol was informed too. Then he described the steps which are being taken. He said that two sketches of bandits were made, the one is still not clear, and that the police is asking everybody who may have witness thieves. They took the arts, quite surprisingly, but with frames too, into their bags and in 10 minutes they managed to leave the museum. That is why, the police is questioning every person from the homeless to whoever who bypassed the museum at that time.The museum officials told that the overall lesion of lost prints and painting is calculated to reach 1 million reals, which is approximately 612,000 dollars.

It should have been all about visas. Strange American research has proved that the foreign tech workers and fashion models have serious problems getting their allowance to work in the U.S.No wonder why. Total number of 65,000 available permits each year can't even slightly cover enormous demands. Migrating refugees, students from Middle and Eastern Europe, Asian waves, they all are searching for their piece of better life in this dreamland. However, it is not true at all.Whether it is for low costing work power or any reasons, the true is that even American Government seems to satisfy overwhelming tech company lobbying in Congress. Young New York Congressman has advanced the bill aiming to place more tech workers and fashion models to the U.S.Indeed, it was only 349 positions proving skinny models to work there, this year it should be 800. Not much, but still a step forward. In a case of models, it is clearly, why do they want to import them more and more. A majority of Americans has problems with overweight! However, the situation is apparently different in tech industry. There have been more and more voices pointing to the fact, that the best American 'brains' are getting fired last years. Consequently they have serious problem with finding jobs. The question remains: Why do they import foreigners?Besides the facts of economic crisis, dollar inflation, generally xenophobic, hardworking, extremly self confident inhabitants, what is the value, that America can offer to those immigrants?It' s understandable in cases of war refugees or people - money hunters. But abandoning this fact, spreading Euro will soon disable historical value of green bill. That will make America less attractive to thousands of work applicants. And from my Slovak point of view, I am very curious about the fates of all those 'work and travel' and ' work and study' agencies making their fortune on us. However, we are about to accept Euro, their fall is more than eligible. Well, like my grandmother used to say, home sweet home...

There hasn't even been enough time for the body to get cold that the eagles are gathering. On Friday the man who joined us for a coffee and talked to us about politics had just enriched the sky with a new bright star. Tim Russert, the host of NBC News' talk show "Meet the Press", left behind a grieving son, a multitude of friends and many people that looked up to him and enjoyed his work. Tim was a part of the Sunday morning of all Americans, but he was also chief political commentator and the head of the Washington bureau. His talk show was crucial in an election year as he was an authentic leader of opinion. Both Obama and McCain paid their respects and brought tributes to him on the NBC Nightly News that lasted for a half an hour and included segments with Russert and interviews with some of his colleagues, as well as tributes of Keith Olbermann, Ethel Kennedy, Bob Schieffer, Tom Brokaw, Bob Woodward and others. CBS, ABC, CNN and Fox News dedicated segments commemorating Russert's work and life. He is so difficult to replace that everyone is watching closely NBC's decision. It's like they lost interest of what was really important: the lost of a great and wonderful person. In spite of all the preparations they made to mark his departure from this life, televisions have still kept their eagle-like side and started to storm above the free spot that is so desired and longed for. Yet, these petty businesses can't steal his shine, nor the traces left behind. For all he did, his work and religious commitment, Russert will be forever remembered as a great leader, father, friend, TV host and last but not least a former of opinion. May God rest his soul!

Obviously the Brangelina couple knows the best how it is to be harassed constantly and have no private life. Probably that is why they chose southern France as the place where their twins will be born. After all French law is criminal for the paparazzi. France has many examples of how paparazzi have received a good slap and were forced to pay big money (Monaco royal family received $681120 in a lawsuit) and even release a “mea culpa” notice when breaking the privacy, especially when it comes to children. Usually the faces of celebrities' children are either blurred, either pulled out, but in the case of the four Jolie-Pitt children they will be allowed to show it clearly as they have already appeared in magazines too often. Brangelina’s lawyer say that in the case of the unborn children she has the right to sue magazines, because she retired from the public life and it is a clear message that she wants to keep it private. Poznam vela ludi, co vedia na nej hrat, ale ja sama nepoznam fakty o gitare.Asi pred 5000 rokmi bola gitara spomenuta po prvy krat. Bolo to v starovekej Cine a Indii. Dave's Spicy House es un realmente auténtico restaurante de Asia en Nueva Inglaterra. A diferencia de los restaurantes que ofrecen comidas de Asia, pero gustan completamente diferentes, este restaurante ofrece platos como restaurantes en Indonesia. Dentro, no parece muy agradable.
