Watching TV is relax for many people. Do you like watching TV series? One of very popular TV series was Dallas. This popular evening soap opera took place in Dallas. The main character is the wealthy Ewing family – patriarch Jock Ewing – he started working with oil and founded the family corporation; his wife Miss Ellie – she looked after the Southfork Ranch. They had three sons: J.R. the ruthless CEO of Ewing Oil and he was married to Sue Ellen Shepard. Second son was Bobby regarded as a nice guy, he married Pamela Barnes and this woman was daughter of the Ewing´s chief business rival. And the third son Gary was considered as outcast and he moved to California with his wife Valene. Dallas was first transmitted in 1978 and this serial was very popular during 14 years. There played more than 600 actors. I will mention just some of them. Larry Hagman played the role of J.R. Ewing; Patrick Duffy played Bobby Ewing, Victoria Principal as the wife of Bobby Ewing, Linda Gray as the wife of J.R. What was the end of Dallas? In the last episode J.R. lost his company to his rival Cliff Barnes, his children did not want anything to do with him, the Southfork Ranch remained empty. J.R. began to hallucinate and heard voices. J.R. wanted to shoot himself but Bobby came to Ranch and J.R. stayed alive. There was one more special episode in 1996, where J.R. received back his company and Bobby with his wife became the presidents of Ewing Oil. Nowadays some people speak about the 30th reunion of Dallas. The members of the serial will return to Southfork Ranch and will celebrate here the anniversary. This event will be open to public, so you can buy ticket and get some information from the actors.
