This time it will take more than 24 hours

I have to admit that sometimes I feel like we live in the century of TV series. The number of series produced by TV channels in last two years is just incredible. Although you can find any kind of TV series you want & series from surgeon environment, criminal or comedian series, only few of them are really successful and have lot of viewers. One of them is Fox drama 24 which won Emmy and golden Globe award for American television series. As the name of it says 24 represents a real time of 24 hour-period in the life of Jack Bauer. He works for U.S. government and tries to safeguard U.S. from terrorist threats. 24 with its 13 episodes was aired on November in 2001 for the first time and Jack acted by Kiefer Sutherland became so famous that Sutherland won a Golden globe for this role and Fox channel was lead to order second half of the season. The 24 was written by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran who was working also on TV serial La Femme Nikita. If you are one of those who can't wait till the new episode comes to your living room and are nervous every time you missed it because you had to be longer at work or had to do something else you will probably quite unhappy when I tell you there are some problems with finishing it. The fans of this Fox drama will have to probably wait till next January because of the Hollywood writers strike. Eight episodes from the last season had been filmed before the strike started, but honestly, who would like to see another season without proper end? I wouldn't.
