Chris Cantell Discusses Entertainment: The Spice Girls Apologized
by Jana Passova

On Wednesday, The Spice Girls apologized to their fans for tour interrupting. The concerts in China, South Africa, Australia and Argentina had to be cancelled. The tour of famous girl group is finishing in February. According to speculations this annoyance was caused by family and personal problems. On Wednesday appeared on Spice girls official Web side a one-minute long video with apology. The reunion tour began in Canada, Vancouver on Sunday. This concert was the first one in last nine years where took a part all the five members, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton. They performed 22 songs on a stage. Some of sang songs were also from the time of their solo careers. The whole performance was combined with well done choreographies. Even today they don't lost nothing of the former "Girl Power". All girls seemed very comfortable except Victoria Beckham. Maybe it was caused by not very comfortable outfit. Also her moves and dancing was kind of high-strung and she looked like she had to concentrate a lot. Spice Girls seemed to be happy that could perfume together again. The show didn't get along several collective hugs. The performance was, as 10 years ago, more about show and entertainment than great singing. The Spice Girls were formed in London in 1994. Their debut single "Wannabe" came up in 1996. This song spent at the top of the United Kingdom Singles Chart for 7 weeks. The Spice Girls became idols for many young girls from the whole planet. The end of the group started after Geri Halliwell departure on May in 1998. All plans of the group were interrupted.
