Make it Right!
by Eva Matova
After adopting three kids, Brat Pitt and Angelina Jolie decided to help devastated New Orleans, Louisiana to become a nice place for living. The city experienced a horror of hurricane Katrina, which caused a loss of lives and property damage in August 2005. Pitt bought a New Orleans mansion for his family earlier this year and together with the environmental organization Global Green USA supported the idea of building 5 homes and a community center in the ruins of the city. His newest campaign wants to make things right in New Orleans again. "I'm asking for foundations, for high net-worth individuals, for church groups, for corporations to come in and adopt a house & basically, $150 000 will get a family back in their home." According to the plans revealed by the actor in an interview on NBC's Today Show, he is planning to build about 150 eco-friendly houses by the end of August 2008. A team of 13 architects has already been hired to make the idea come true. Each house is going to be built on stilts, which would prevent them from flooding. Good luck, Brad!
